CENA-V
A special plastic mold steel with very high mirror brightness and corrosion resistance. Thanks to superior features such as good thermal conductivity, high pattern capability, good weldability, and suitability for EDM processes, it performs better than conventional plastic mold steels. CENA-V is supplied pre-hardened (35-41 HRC). With nitration treatment, the surface hardness can reach up to 1000 HV. Additionally, its high toughness is another reason for preference. It is specially designed for applications where both corrosion resistance and mirror brightness are required simultaneously.
