8620 (21NiCrMo2)
Unlike 5120, it is a case-hardening steel that contains chromium-molybdenum-nickel as alloy elements. Due to molybdenum and nickel, its mechanical properties are better than 5120. It is used in applications where a ductile core and hard surface are desired against wear through the case-hardening process. It is supplied in a soft annealed condition.
