DAC-I
It is a new generation hot work tool steel. With its high-temperature strength properties, DAC-I also boasts a high toughness value, primarily used as a performance steel in metal injection molds against thermal fatigue cracks. It has a more homogeneous internal structure compared to the conventional 1.2343 ESR material. Its high polishability feature also makes it frequently preferred in plastic molds.
