1.3343 (HS6-5-2C)
It is a tungsten-alloyed high-speed steel. It has a very wide range of applications. It exhibits high wear resistance while maintaining its mechanical properties at high temperatures. It is suitable for PVD and CVD coating processes, welding operations, and wire erosion cutting. It is supplied in a soft annealed condition (~260-300 HBW). It can achieve hardness levels of 60-64 HRC with heat treatment.
